Formy studijních úkolů, které zapojují na opravňují studenty, jim dávají příležitost prokázat své porozumění a dovednosti. Možnosti hodnocení tohoto učení jsou zakotveny v každém studijním úkolu a interakci, kterou se studenty máme. Pozorování a zdokumentování tohoto učení může snadno prokázat naše rozhodování, například vycházet ze silných stránek studentů a pomoci jim pochopit, kde jsou a jak jít dále. Na tomto workshopu budou učitelé prozkoumávat jednotlivé příklady tohoto cyklu formativního hodnocení a responzivního plánování. Budou zvažovat různé modely dokumentace učení/formativního hodnocení. A učit se ze sebereflexe studentů o jejich učení a cílech dalšího rozvoje.
Empowering and Engaging Students through Formative Assessment and Responsive Planning
Learning tasks that empower and engage students provide opportunities for them to demonstrate their understanding and skills. Possibilities for assessment of this learning are embedded in every learning task and interaction we have with students. Observing and documenting this learning can inform the decisions we make, building on students’ strengths and helping them to understand for themselves where they are and how to go further. In this workshop teachers will explore examples of this cycle of formative assessment and responsive planning, consider different models for documentation of learning / formative assessment. And learn from students’ own self-reflections about their learning and goals for further development.

Dr. Cindy Vega
Cindy působí jako pedagožka již více než 40 let. Pracovala jako učitelka od mateřské školy až po univerzitu, jako tvůrce profesionálního vzdělávání a učebních osnov a v poslední době již 16 let jako ředitelka prvního stupně základní školy na International School of Prague. Před příchodem do Prahy absolvovala doktorské studium kurikula a leadershipu na Vanderbiltově univerzitě v Nashvillu ve státě Tennessee, kde spoluvytvářela a usnadňovala několik programů ke vzdělávání učitelů, a také pracovala jako školitelka učitelů na mezinárodních školách v Peru, Paraguayi a Argentině. Nadále se s nadšením věnuje podpoře vzdělávání učitelů prostřednictvím společných profesních postupů a koučování. Mezi její současné zájmy patří rozvíjení zvídavosti žáků skrze badatelsky orientovanou výuku a výuku inspirovanou metodou Reggio, a také porozumění pokroku v učení žáků skrze pozorování a dokumentaci.
Cindy has been an educator for 40+ years, serving as a teacher from Kindergarten through university, a developer of professional learning and curriculum, and most recently, the Elementary Principal at the Elementary School at the International School of Prague for the past 16 years. Prior to coming to Prague, she completed her doctoral studies in Curriculum and Leadership at the University of Vanderbilt, in Nashville, Tennessee where she also co-developed and facilitated several teacher education programs, as well as working as a teacher trainer with international schools in Peru, Paraguay, and Argentina. She continues to be passionate about supporting teachers’ learning through collaborative professional practices and coaching. Her current interests include nurturing students’ curiosity through inquiry-based and Reggio-inspired learning, as well as understanding students’ learning progress through observation and documentation.
